Shigatse

Shigatse is located on the southwest of Tibetan Plateau. The average altitude is over 4000 meters. The city was built six hundred years ago. It is the second largest city in Tibet. It is the center of politics, religion and culture in.

There is a lot of sunshine in Shigatse. The climate is mild. It can be visited all year round. The best time to visit Mt. Everest is during April and June.
